My logo :)

The M and W are my first and last initials... Maya Weinstein.
Hart is my middle name, but I use it as a representation of me.
I chose purple because it combines the qualities that blue and red have to offer.
The typeface was generic and easy to read.

TV Show

Show: Pretty Little Liars.
Network: ABC Family.

Pretty Little Liars is about a group of 5 teen girls, and one of them is murdered. The other 4 stick together and work around the secrets they were keeping from each other. Every possible messed up thing that can happen happens in this show, but it's extremely intriguing.

Target audience:
Teenage girls

Ads:
Covergirl Liquiline blast
Scream Queens 2 the tv show
5 Hour energy
Target
Beneful dog food

As a teenage girl, I am part of the target audience. The only ads that did not appeal to me were the Beneful dog food and Scream Queens 2, though some teens may like Scream Queens.

Personal :)

I...
1) have a strong sense of justice.
2) am very compassionate.
3) am dedicated.

1) My sense of justice is like my moral compass. Of course I know the basic right/wrong situations (i.e. stealing, drinking, lying), but in tougher situations, I always stand up for who or what's right, as difficult as it may be. Recently, something came up that really called for justice.
Every kid has a sport or an activity that they participate in and love so much that it becomes their life. Mine is sailing. It provided me with friends, physical activity, and a passion. Sailing, for me, is an outlet from the difficulties of everyday life. But what happens when the root of one of the troubles in my life is in the form of my sailing coach? To avoid legal conflict, I'll spare names and details. Basically, this man who had become such a huge role in my life, and all of the other kids' lives, did an inappropriate thing, that involved my best friend (who was also my sailing partner). The coach was ultimately arrested, to the relief of my friend. Unfortunately, the other kids at the sailing center did not believe that this man did anything wrong. It's not that they didn't believe it; they refused to. I got all of the hard evidence, and looked back on what I knew of this man. I came to the conclusion that he was in fact guilty. There is no way he had good intentions for what he did. My friend was shunned at the sailing center by both parents and kids. It was absolutely awful watching these people close their minds to the truth, which was right in front of them. I strongly believe that my friend did the right thing in the situation, and is not to blame for any of it. I will support her to the end.
2) I'll start off by saying- my little brother has epilepsy.
Blunt statement. But it's a fact that looks me in the eye everyday. I love my little brother. He's taught me that sometimes, you need help to overcome hurdles. Everyone has hurdles, and his are bigger than most. My brother has given me the two greatest things in the world- love and compassion. My compassion for him is strong. You don't understand what it's like until you look into your little brother's eyes, and his eyes roll back, and he has a seizure. Many a day. The greatest thing about him is he is so happy, and always has an amazing smile on his face. My compassion for him has carried over to others, and I thank him for that.
3)Dedication is a really tough thing; it is having the tolerance to focus on one thing, and doing a good job with it. I put dedication into everything I do. Even throughout the shenanigans at the sailing center, I was dedicated to my position there. As a summer camp counselor, I didn't want to leave and let the kids down, even though I didn't get along with the other instructors. I put all that I could into teaching the kids how to sail, and showing them how to have fun with it.

+I am relatively laid back, and I have a really good work ethic when I'm tired. I'm mentally organized, but my room is a disaster. I'm not good at multitasking even though I do it all the time. I don't mind working alone, but I like being with other people. Writing is the best way for me to express myself.
**Though I've made it obvious in this post, few people know that I sail competitively.
**I like to think that others see me as the real deal. I don't ever change who I am, so there's no reason to doubt me and my
intentions.

<3 love to all,
Maya!
